- Video chat before meeting to confirm they match their profile
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave immediately
Protecting Your Privacy
- Never share your real name, address, or workplace until you trust someone
- Don't send money to anyone you haven't met — scammers often ask for “emergency” funds
- Keep conversations on the platform until you're comfortable sharing personal contact info
- Be cautious of profiles that seem too good to be true — look for verification badges
For Service Providers
- Screen clients through the platform — check their verification status and reviews
- Set clear boundaries before meeting and communicate your terms in writing
- Always collect payment through the platform — never accept cash or off-platform payments
- Have a safe word and emergency plan for in-person sessions
